1. Purpose and scope
Vestra uses identity and financial-crime controls to help protect users, prevent misuse and meet legal or contractual requirements applicable to the platform and particular transactions. The checks applied may vary by service, transaction value, jurisdiction, user type and risk.
2. Identity and business verification
We may request government-issued identity documents, proof of address, date of birth, contact verification, business registration, ownership and control information, or other evidence needed to understand who is using the platform and who ultimately owns or controls an entity. Documents must be genuine, current where required and submitted by an authorised person.
3. Beneficial ownership and source of funds
For certain users or transactions, Vestra may request information about beneficial owners, the origin of funds or wealth, transaction purpose, counterparties or supporting records. Additional information may be required if documents conflict, information is incomplete or a transaction presents elevated risk.
4. Screening and monitoring
Where appropriate and legally permitted, Vestra or its service providers may screen users and relevant parties against sanctions, politically exposed person, adverse-media, fraud or other risk sources. Transactions and account activity may be reviewed for unusual patterns, inconsistencies or potential prohibited conduct. Screening results are indicators for review and are not necessarily proof of wrongdoing.
5. Enhanced due diligence and decisions
Higher-risk cases may require additional documentation, manual review, senior approval or more frequent checks. Vestra may delay, limit, reject or suspend a transaction or service when required by law, when checks cannot be completed, or where a risk cannot reasonably be addressed. We may be restricted from disclosing certain investigation details.
6. Prohibited conduct
Users must not use Vestra to launder criminal proceeds, finance terrorism, evade sanctions, conceal beneficial ownership, commit fraud, manipulate a marketplace or route funds on behalf of unknown or unauthorised parties. Do not provide false documents or attempt to bypass identity or transaction limits.
7. Records, privacy and service providers
Verification information is handled under the Privacy Policy and retained for periods required by law, transaction obligations, security needs or dispute resolution. Approved verification and compliance providers may process information on Vestra’s behalf under appropriate arrangements. Access is limited to legitimate operational, security and compliance needs.
8. Cooperation and account restrictions
You agree to provide truthful and timely information reasonably requested for compliance checks and to notify Vestra when relevant account or ownership details change. Failure to provide required information may prevent access to some features or transactions. Where law requires a report to a competent authority, Vestra may make that report and may be prohibited from notifying the user.
9. Policy updates and contact
This policy may be updated as services, risks or legal requirements change. It is a summary of Vestra’s approach and does not describe every control or replace applicable law or transaction-specific requirements. For questions, contact support@vestraproperties.pro. Do not send passwords or one-time codes to support.
